The Electrical & electronics Association –WIRBELSTROM- of the department of Electrical &Electronics was inaugurated on 29.07.09.
The activities of the year was inaugurated by Dr.R.Sreeramkumar, Proffessor,NIT Kozhikode. Dr.P.K. BalaSubrahmanian, Director VVIT presided over the function. Our beloved Principal Dr K.J.Wilson spoke on the occasion.

Dr R. Sreeramkumar also spoke on modern trends and stratagies in power system operation. He explained the liberation policy in power sector included in Electricity bill 2003, and its implications in the working of State owned power utilities.

The proposed activities of the year includes seminars, paper presentation and workshops on relevant subjects.
The meeting was followed by colorful cultural activities by students of EEE dept of VVIT.
