Well furnished hostels are available for men and women separately. Currently these can accommodate 100 men and 150 women students respectively. Single, double and multi member rooms are available in the hostel. The rooms are well furnished and all essential facilities for the comfortable stay of the inmates have been provided. Hygienically prepared vegetarian food, with rotating menu, are made available in the mess.
The assistant wardens in these hostels look after the affairs of the room allocation to the individual students and issuing the 'Out Pass Forms' for the students going home during the Institute vacations. All the student complaints regarding the room maintenance and stay are routed through the warden of the hostel to the concerned authorities.
Facilities like Reading Room, Medical assistance are available for the convenience of the students staying in the hostel. During times of power failure Generator provides electricity to the hostels.
Besides the students hostels, Guest Houses for the comfortable stay of senior faculty are also made available at Ramanattukara.
New students hostels with improved facilities are going to be constructed soon.
