Our Library System consists of a Central Library and 6 departmental libraries which collectively support the teaching and research programmes of the Institute and provides facilities for general reading and disseminates information according to the requirement of the users. Central Library has been started functional since 1965. It is housed in a separate building with a plinth area of 835 sq. mtrs. The operations of the library are fully computerized and Koha, an open source integrated library system used for library management functions. Users can search the documents of library through the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is available all around the campus network.
The central library has acquired over 23000 books . The books are classified according to the DDC Scheme of Library Classification and follows open access system.The central library subscribes more than 60 print national journals, 30 popular magazines and 6 daily news papers. In addition to the regular Library and Information services, Book Bank service is being provided to ensure essential study materials to socially backward students. The central library have 8 valuable foreign e-journal databases in the field of Engineering science and technology include ASCE, ASME, ASTM, Elsevier, IEEE, J-Gate, McGraw Hill and Springer. IP based Full text access of these eight Electronic resources are activated all over the campus .

Both Boys and Girls hostel facilities are available inside the campus. Food is provided in the canteen which is at a walkable distance. Boys hostel has 40 rooms which can accommodate 160 students and girls hostel has 50 rooms which can accommodate 200 students.
vedavyasa institute of technology has an extensive network with good reach all over the city is an added advantage for students. It has transportation facilities from Ramanattukara, feroke, pantheerankavu, hilite mall, thondayad, mankavu, meenchanda etc..
Healthy body has a healthy mind. Vedavyasa institute of technology has a Gym in the campus. It is equipped with Treadmill , Fitness equipment, Stationery bicycle, Rowing machine, Training bench, Dumbbells etc, The Gym is open from morning 5.30 to 7.30 for boys and Evening 5 to 7 for girls for a monthly payment of Rs.200/- Students who stay in hostels normally use the gym.
The Department of Physical Education in vedavyasa institute of technology is promoting Physical Education and sports on par with regular academics. The Institution has well recognized the value of sports and physical activities as a means of developing personality promoting social harmony and discipline. The Department provides ample opportunity to the students to utilize their leisure time with physical activities to reduce their stress and inculcate a lifetime physical activity behavior in their day-to-day education system. Physical fitness is not only the most important key to a healthy body but also the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual abilities. We encourage mass participation towards physical activities, which enhance the overall cognitive abilities of the students. The Department of Physical Education is monitoring the sports activities of students as well as staffs. Our Sports department desires to prepare all the Sports events to enable participation for all Inter Collegiate Tournaments.
