Welcome to the Library and Information Division of VVIT. It was established in the year 2004, and serves as a knowledge hub containing resources not only in the form of print but also in e-resources and provides students with access to a vast repository of resources, including books and Journals both print and online. In any academic institution Library plays an important role in the dissemination of knowledge. In fact, the ambiance of the library reflects the quality of the education imparted by the College. VVIT has recognized the importance of the academic vibrations required in the library and has been growing in this direction, right from its very inception. Library is a member of National Library Network – DELNET. Information from National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) and other Electronic Resources are also available for the user community. Only Library members are allowed to access all materials (such as Books, Journals, Magazines, Digital materials and E-Journals etc.) available in the library collection. The Library reading space can accommodate more than 300 students. Library functions such as Acquisition, Circulation, and Cataloging have been automated using integrated software with Web OPAC.
The College has built a spacious Central Library spanning a total floor area of 600 sq. m. Combining aesthetics with utility, the modern Library houses more than 25,000 documents consisting of Technical Books, Full Text E-Resources, Bibliographic Databases, Journals both print and on-line, Digital resources, Reports, Theses, Standards and back volumes of journals. The library subscribes to more than 54 printed journals and technical magazines. Library follows the open access system. The Library also subscribes to E-Books and E-Journals The Library is Automated with provision for Research Scholars Cubicle, Stack Section, Reference Section, and Circulation Section with computers and other peripherals connected in LAN. The Reference section has open as well as closed access. It also has a network linked Photocopier installed to enable students to make printouts/copies.

Vedavyasa Institute of Technology provides hostel facilities for the students within the campus itself. The hostels are set in lush green surroundings with clean air, water and a calm atmosphere conducive for learning and for the physical wellbeing of the students.. A total number of 150 students can be accommodated at the college hostels. To cater to the academic needs of the students, resident tutors are available in the hostel. Our hostels aim at the wholistic development – intellectual, cultural, moral, Social, emotional and spiritual – of the students. The hostels provide a disciplined, safe, calm, hygienic and peaceful atmosphere for students for their studies and for their personal growth. The hostel mess provides good and wholesome food. There is a mess committee with hostel wardens and student representatives. The mess executive committee regularly (once in a month) meets and decide the food menu. For the entertainment of the students, Students are encouraged to make use of the college library and for this purpose hostel timing have been chalked out. The students are expected to strictly follow the hostel rules and guidelines regarding general discipline, behavior, study hours, meal timings etc. They are also expected to take good care of hostel properties like furniture, room, toilet and bath-room fittings, electrical accessories, etc.

vedavyasa institute of technology has an extensive network with good reach all over the city is an added advantage for students. It has transportation facilities from Ramanattukara, feroke, pantheerankavu, hilite mall, thondayad, mankavu, meenchanda etc..
Healthy body has a healthy mind. Vedavyasa institute of technology has a Gym in the campus. It is equipped with Treadmill , Fitness equipment, Stationery bicycle, Rowing machine, Training bench, Dumbbells etc, The Gym is open from morning 5.30 to 7.30 for boys and Evening 5 to 7 for girls for a monthly payment of Rs.200/- Students who stay in hostels normally use the gym.
The Department of Physical Education in vedavyasa institute of technology is promoting Physical Education and sports on par with regular academics. The Institution has well recognized the value of sports and physical activities as a means of developing personality promoting social harmony and discipline. The Department provides ample opportunity to the students to utilize their leisure time with physical activities to reduce their stress and inculcate a lifetime physical activity behavior in their day-to-day education system. Physical fitness is not only the most important key to a healthy body but also the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual abilities. We encourage mass participation towards physical activities, which enhance the overall cognitive abilities of the students. The Department of Physical Education is monitoring the sports activities of students as well as staffs. Our Sports department desires to prepare all the Sports events to enable participation for all Inter Collegiate Tournaments.
The Medical Assistance Centre of VVIT is located in the ground floor.. This facility has attached wash rooms and necessary amenities. The centre is equipped with emergency medical equipments, medicines and a wheel chair.
